Yay or Nay? It's Up to You!
Theresa and I are asking for your advice. Last year we ran in the Sarasota Half Marathon. The training was grueling and lasted for months. Crossing the finish line, however, made it all worth it. We have not yet decided if we are going to try it again. We need to make up our mind soon though so we can begin training for it. We have set up a poll on our website for you to vote. Do you think we should run in it or not? If you get this post via email or a feed please visit www.theschroderfamily.com to cast your vote. The poll is located directly under the welcome picture. Thanks in advance for your opinion. Our future depends on it!

As much as I hated the training - I just voted YES for running the Sarasota 1/2 Marathon again! It was too much fun celebrating with the family afterwards to skip it this year! (Unless of course we'e pregnant!)
ReplyDeleteI vote YES. I was very impressed to learn how far you guys actually had to run. The race may be long and enduring but making it across the finish line makes it all worthwhile. Go TEAM SCHRODER!!
ReplyDeleteWell, you have two chirren (children) now and you have to be responsible parents! :) I think that as long as the little weiners don't feel too sad and you make adjustments for their emotional well-being, then go for it! Its great for your health. RUN, FORRESTs, RUN!!!
ReplyDeleteI say absolutely. You are the only people I know that get enjoyment out of getting up at the crack of dawn and running across town. By you guys doing it I get "associated" exercise credits. :) Since that is the only exercise I get I have to take it! haha
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I think you should do it since you enjoy it so much and it is something you do together. Unless you prefer the mountain biking? Cause this will definitely eat into that time....

I feel so honored to get to have my say! I feel like I should say "no" because I know how much Theresa hates the training, but as your former trainer, I had to vote "yes"! You know I will also encourage you to set those goals and keep pushing forward!
