We made the short trip across the state to Palm Springs for the new year celebration with Theresa's great uncle George and aunt Nancy. We had such a great time hanging out with them. We ate like royalty (and probably gained 10 lbs each) and relaxed with Dottie the entire weekend. They took us on a "Sunday Drive" and I mean a true, retired couple, Sunday drive! While being honked at by the drivers behind us for moving entirely too slow we saw one of Donald Trump's estates, one of John Lennon's former estates, and one of the Kennedy Family's estates. It was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of our own because we forgot to take the camera. Once we were back at the house we snapped a few photos. Check them out!

Christmas Eve Football Game
We decided to spend our Christmas in a hotel room in Jacksonville, Fl. Why the hell would we do that? We got a pretty sweet deal on some tickets for the new years eve Jaguars - Patriots game. Our friends Karen and Derik went with us. We were in the Crown Royal luxury box suite. It was nice and all but we would rather have been in the rain with the crowd. It felt like we were watching the game at home with a bunch of people we didn't invite. We had a great time staying in downtown Jacksonville though. Lots of drinking and hanging out with new friends.
